Lime Energy is seeking highly-motivated, talented professionals to develop qualified leads for the sales energy auditor team. The individual will support the rapid growth of Lime’s utility-sponsored Small Business Direct Install energy efficiency programs.

Through a well-developed and strategic outbound contact program, the Lead Generator team will uncover and assess the program’s small business utility customers and qualify them for audits and participation.  Customer prospecting methodologies are predominately in-person meetings, with door-to-door cold calling of customer businesses, as well as networking at business and community functions, and telemarketing.

This team is a most critical entry point into the Lime Energy utility-sponsored programs, responsible for initiating the majority of leads while ensuring that a high potential of energy-efficiency opportunities and internal key performance indicators are met.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field or Associates Degree with related experience
• 2 to 4 years sales experience
• Proven ability to conduct successful cold calls
• Current driver’s license and car
• Extensive knowledge of Long Island, NY area
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proficiency in MS Office Applications including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Access, as well as MS CRM and sales management systems
• Non-English speaking language skills a plus
• Commercial energy and lighting experience a plus

Lime Energy Company, a leading provider of energy efficiency and renewable energy design/build solutions, seeks an Accounting Manager with a minimum of 5 years construction accounting experience. This position provides leadership and management to six team members. The Accounting Manager oversees the completion of ledger accounts, job reporting and financial statements. Evaluates and makes appropriate improvements to internal accounting processes ensuring practices are in line with the overall goals of the organization.

Must have:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• 3 – 5 years management experience
• Demonstrated organizational skills; ability to prioritize and effectively multi-task in a fast-paced, demanding environment
• Demonstrated proficiency with MS Excel
• Public accounting experience and CPA or MBA a plus
• Experience with Dynamics SL Accounting System preferred

Candidates must have 7 – 10 years’ experience with commercial boiler systems and possess strong management and organizational skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with contractors on site is a must and adept in ensuring project scope and schedule is met. Candidate will work closely with client and contractors overseeing construction activities. Proficient at problem solving and possessing basic computer skills, including MS Office, required. Must be knowledgeable in OSHA standards and proactive in enforcing regulations on site.

Proposal Developers generate energy saving lighting project proposals from raw survey data, analyzing designs and generating costs and energy savings, serving as a liaison and data analyst for the development, sales, and construction groups. 

Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong reasoning abilities, strong PC skills, proven experience analyzing and manipulating data in MS Excel and Access, and ability to learn and work independently.

Able to meet strict deadlines, is task oriented, a team player, and possesses excellent communication skills a must. CAD experience and/or electrical knowledge a plus.
