Project Description
Lime Energy developed and constructed a landfill gas to energy project at the Zemel Road Landfill in Punta Gorda, FL.
This system involved the design, construction and operation of a landfill gas collection system, gas treatment equipment and electric generation.
Interconnected to the FPL grid, the plant provides base power to a utility located in Central Florida.
