Momemtum builds for Energy 2030 Campaign to double U.S. energy
productivity with latest stop in New York City.
September 25, 2014: Huntersville, NC: Lime Energy (NASDAQ:LIME) announces that CEO, Adam Procell will be a speaker at the next Energy 2030 On the Road event in New York City. The Alliance to Save Energy and Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships (NEEP) are cohosting the event on Monday, September 29th 2014 from 8:30 am – 1:00 pm at The Cosmopolitan Club, 122 East 66th Street, New York City. Keynote speakers and panelists will discuss how to educate and engage people on the issue of doubling U.S. energy productivity by the year 2030, as well as the benefits of investing in energy productivity and modernizing regulations and infrastructure. The invitation-only event will bring together state and local policymakers and leaders from businesses and non-profit organizations to encourage energy efficiency stakeholders to endorse the Energy 2030 goal.
Previous campaign stops from Seattle to Atlanta have already resulted in the endorsement of nearly 100 elected officials, businesses, universities and other stakeholders. The conversations in New York City will build upon this strong foundation, and will encourage open dialogues with time for Q&A from the audience and members of the press.
